As an entrepreneur, there are a lot of things on my plate so having a smartphone that can keep up with me when using essential design apps and can take Instagram-worthy photos and videos is highly important which is why I decided to upgrade to Apple's flagship smartphone in 2020, the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The phone saw the return of the flat-design language introduced with the iPhone 4 and refined in the iPhone 5 as Apple made a whole bunch of internal and external changes to make the phone snappier and better in almost every way. The design is stunning but impractical in some key ways that I dive in to in the video below.
If you're running a business, you're going to be weighing up the cost-benefit analysis to figure out is the iPhone 12 Pro Max worth buying, and for me, coming from a 2017 iPhone X that had recently had it's battery replaced and was performing well, the answer is probably not.
I could have waited until 2021 to get an iPhone 13 as the improvements in terms of speed and performance weren't high enough to warrant getting the latest and greatest phone.
That said, the cameras are incredible and with a recent DJI Osmo 4 gimbal helping me to shoot steady 4k video, I will definitely get my money's worth out of the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
If you're on the fence about whether the iPhone 12 Pro Max is worth buying, check out my latest YouTube video where I give a long-term review after using the phone as my primary smartphone for 3 months and share which phone I wish I had bought instead.
