Accessibility
How this site is built to work for everyone, and how to tell us when it doesn’t.
Last reviewed on 2 November 2026.
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. The aim is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we treat that as an ongoing job rather than a one-off.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content.
- Text, links and buttons meet WCAG colour-contrast ratios in both the light and dark themes.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can navigate them, and images carry meaningful alternative text.
- Animation and sound are optional: the site respects your “reduce motion” setting, and sound is off until you turn it on.
- Text can be resized to 200% and pages reflow on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
- We test with automated tools (axe and Lighthouse) and check by hand on iPhone and Mac.
Known limitations
- Videos embedded from YouTube in older blog posts rely on YouTube’s own captions, which may be auto-generated.
- Some third-party content, such as the HubSpot chat window and the Google Calendar booking page, is provided by those companies and may not fully meet our standard.
